MobilePay validates the customer's age in its own flow, so the purchase is completed without an extra MitID step in checkout.
The Verify fee is charged only when a MitID validation is completed, not on payments where the customer uses MobilePay.
Payment methods other than MobilePay are validated with MitID, but only on orders containing products that actually require age verification.
Age verification is activated only for products or product groups that require it.
Store the validation and avoid sending customers through the same flow again.
The result is stored automatically, and we issue a certificate for documentation towards the Danish Safety Technology Authority.

Most WooCommerce stores handle age verification with popups, redirects or external verification services. That adds extra steps in checkout and increases the risk that the customer abandons the purchase.
With ePay Verify, age verification happens directly in the payment flow. The customer can browse your store freely, and verification is only triggered when the payment starts.
That means you can comply with regulation without blocking visitors on the front page or forcing customers through extra steps before they have even chosen a product.

When the customer pays with MobilePay, the app already knows the user's age. That means the verification can happen directly inside MobilePay without a separate MitID step in checkout.
If the customer meets the age requirement, the payment continues as normal. If not, the payment is automatically rejected in MobilePay.
That means many payments can be completed without MitID login or extra verification steps, and that is where the major conversion gain comes from.
For WooCommerce stores, the MobilePay flow can increase conversion because the customer stays in a familiar payment flow and avoids the friction of MitID in checkout. You still comply with the rules for selling alcohol, nicotine and other age-restricted products.

If the customer chooses a payment method other than MobilePay, age verification is handled through MitID directly in the payment window.
The customer is briefly sent to MitID to confirm their age and then returns to the payment, where checkout continues as normal.
You only pay for a completed MitID validation. In other words, it is not a fee per transaction but a charge that is only triggered when the age verification is actually completed.
This lets you comply with legislation for selling alcohol, nicotine and other regulated products, while keeping checkout in your WooCommerce store as simple as possible for customers who can use MobilePay.

Do you sell both regular products and items with age restrictions in your WooCommerce store?
Age verification can be activated at product level or by product group. That means customers buying regular items never encounter an unnecessary verification.
