Simple and effective subscription payments

Get paid again and again...

When you choose subscription payments, you open the door to a range of benefits for both you and your customers.

For your business, it means stable and predictable revenue, less admin, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

For your customers, subscriptions mean convenience and flexibility. With recurring payments, they need to do almost nothing, resulting in a smooth experience.

All they have to do is enter their card in ePay’s payment gateway, and the payments run automatically.

Monthly or yearly payments? You decide!

Tailor your subscription setup

With our subscription payments you control the billing intervals. Whether you prefer monthly, quarterly, or yearly payments, it’s up to you.

This gives you the flexibility to create subscription packages that fit your products/services and your customers’ needs.

You can also offer multiple packages at different prices — for example, a Basic plan and a Premium plan with different benefits.

Tokenization - reliable subscriptions without interruptions

Payments that just work

Save yourself from unnecessary administration - when your customers’ cards expire or are replaced, the details are updated automatically. This frees up time and ensures payments continue without interruptions.

At the same time, your customers experience that payments always go through smoothly. Everything happens automatically in the background, so the subscription continues without any effort on their part.

This means fewer declined payments, higher approval rates, and more predictable revenue for your business.

You also benefit from stronger security and reduced fraud risk, which in many cases can mean lower transaction costs.

In short: a smarter and more reliable payment solution that boosts your sales and helps you retain your customers.

What you need in place to accept subscription payments

Requirements for your website

To accept subscription payments, your acquirer must issue a separate approval.

Approval is free, but the acquirer requires certain information on your website, including:

  • Subscription terms and general terms must be confirmed separately by the cardholder before payment (2x checkbox).
  • Your subscription terms must include:
    • Procedure for changing/renewing the card number.
    • How and how often the customer will receive or access receipt information in accordance with applicable payment legislation.
    • When funds are debited from the cardholder (e.g. every 30 days from agreement date or on the 1st of each month).
    • That your business stores the customer’s card information.
    • How the customer can start a subscription to the service/product.
    • How the customer can cancel the subscription.
    • Other relevant information such as commitment period, notice period, receipt after purchase, etc.

Read more about these requirements in our Getting started guide.
